The European Advanced Carbon and Graphite Materials Association (ECGA) is pleased to announce that it is a media partner of the EIT RawMaterials Summit 2026, one of Europe’s leading gatherings for discussion on raw materials, industrial strategy and supply chain resilience. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Brussels, ECGA represents Europe’s carbon and graphite industry and works to raise awareness of the sector’s role in Europe’s industrial, energy and technology value chains.
Taking place on 19–21 May 2026 at The EGG, Brussels, the summit is expected to bring together more than 1,000 participants from 55 countries, including over 60 speakers, 40+ investors and 25+ start-ups. The 2026 edition is focused on “Accelerating Europe’s Competitiveness” and on turning Europe’s ambitions for raw and advanced materials into practical delivery across the value chain.

The programme reflects many of the issues that matter directly to the European carbon and graphite sector: domestic extraction, processing and refining, advanced recycling, secondary raw materials markets, global partnerships, innovation scale-up, investment, and the skills needed to strengthen Europe’s industrial base. Sessions will also address themes such as critical raw materials financing, circularity, supply chain action, defence readiness and disruptive innovation.
For ECGA, the summit is especially relevant because it brings together the policymakers, industrial leaders and investors shaping the future framework for European competitiveness. As Europe works to secure more resilient and sustainable value chains, carbon and graphite materials remain essential to a wide range of applications, from metallurgy and advanced manufacturing to batteries and other strategic technologies. Supporting this year’s summit as a media partner is therefore fully aligned with ECGA’s mission to promote informed dialogue and strengthen understanding of the sector’s importance for Europe.
ECGA looks forward to following the discussions at the EIT RawMaterials Summit 2026 and to helping amplify the key messages emerging from the event. We encourage our members, partners and stakeholders to follow the summit closely and engage with the debate on Europe’s raw materials future.
