Strengthening Our Network: Welcome to ECGA’s Newest Members

We are delighted to announce that three new companies were officially approved as associate members during the ECGA General Assembly on 22 October 2025 in Genval. These new members bring forward-looking technologies, local resource development, and deep sector expertise, perfectly aligned with ECGA’s mission to support sustainable innovation and resilience in the carbon and graphite value chain.

Alkeemia S.p.A. (Italy)
Alkeemia is a leading European producer of hydrogen fluoride (HF), with strong industrial infrastructure and deep fluorine chemistry expertise. The company is developing HF-based purification technologies for graphite, with a 200 t/y pilot line scheduled for 2026 and a full industrial plant planned for 2028. Alkeemia’s growing role in the battery and graphite value chains makes it a key player in Europe’s clean-tech transformation.

Loginns GmbH (Austria)
Loginns has developed and patented a green exfoliation process to produce Few Layer Graphene (FLG) from micronised graphite. Their AT800 system enables graphite producers to generate FLG in-house, adding high-value potential directly at mine sites or through bulk conversion programmes. Their innovative approach contributes to Europe’s strategic autonomy in advanced materials.

Rudný průzkum Brno (Czech Republic)
Rudný průzkum Brno (RPB) is reviving the historic Velké Tresné graphite mine in the Czech Republic. With estimated reserves of over 7 million tonnes of high-grade graphite (avg. 20.6% C), the site has the potential to become one of Europe’s most significant domestic sources of natural graphite. RPB is currently advancing geological modelling, metallurgical testing, and community engagement in preparation for future development.
